A TIME OF TRIAL is expressed in the Dramatic production THE CRUCIBLE. Helen Kira, Cathy Vaughn, Bill Turner, and Roger Weaver received lead roles. Miss Colleen Stanley rlirectr-rl the play. 4 Continental time in '69 was marked by the ap- pearance of snow, the Indianapolis Symphony Or- chestra, and outstanding student effort. George Washington High School was number one not only athletically but academically. Student effort was shown by the National Thes- pian Society in their production of the Crucible. Many hours were spent by the stage crew, actors, and actresses while rehearsing for this production. More talent was shown by the Indianapolis Sympho- ny Orchestra, as they performed before the student body. In '69 Louie Day, one member of the State Bas- ketball Championship Team was known for his chant Get On Your Feet. The cheerblock, sponsored by Mrs. Kennedy, helped produce spirit at pep-sessions and at all the games. They also sold booster badges and shakers to raise the money for Mr. Green's sweater.
