Democracy increases in the classroom and encourages the patriotism of American citizens. Discussion of totalitarian- ism, socialism, and other forms helps students to realize the advantages of our system. Other nations' histories are studied in the tenth grade, Americo's in the eleventh, and government and economics in twelfth. This sequence builds from an understanding of other cultures and growth to one af ours. From tenth through twelfth grade we learn America's place in the world society.
