ll1B QPEHI l USl'l lOl' QUlCl did 1'l0l Staff until 1549 Boys play at noon time for coveted tournament trophies V Y M if The Girls' and Boys' Leagues went all out this year to plan var- ious activities in which the whole student body could participate. The girls' tennis tournament in the fall proved very successful, Barbara Van Yvinlcle, the winner, being presented with her trophy at the Fashion Show held the same semester. Cotton day, in the summer semester, gave the girls a chance to prove they could sew pretty things as well as buy them. The Boys' League tennis tournament, won by LeRoy Nelson drew faithful fans to the courts every noon. Lyle Benner and Chet Noe came out victorious in the volley ball tournament, and the basket- ball tournament provided fun for many more. Could be a ringer!
