The fun he had in school lives always in the memory ofthe student. This was as true of your grandmother's time as it is of the present generation. But the older era did not offer so many outlets for social activity as does the modern one. To be a member of the debate team or of a literary society was considered quite the thing fifty years ago. Beyond them, there were few organizations which sponsored social life. But how different is high school social activity today. A glance through the following section will reveal what a wide range of choice a student has to develop his special interests and have fun doing it. Service clubs, sports clubs, and school sponsored parties and dances help to keep our Marthas' and Georges' from being dull boys and girls. MEP-.R LIFE
