One of the major projects of the department is the Annual Science Fair. Students from GW, Francis Hammond, and Jefferson High Schools may participate in this activity. Because science is becoming an increasingly important subject, the school has built a new chemistry laboratory. It was first put to use in 1961. MR. FRANK KAPRIVA General Science, Chemistry MR.
