SENIOR SURVEY — Officer! of the senior class are: Mr. Lindsey, Sponsor; Johnny Nottingham, Secretary-Treasurer; Nancy Moncure, January Chairman; and Martha Duke, President. Absent from the picture, Alan Bugg, Vice-President. MARTHA DUKE Senior Class President SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS Even from a bird's eye view one could see the senior class officers working at their task of leading 270 seniors. The main leader was, of course, the president, Martha Duke. Presiding over senior class meetings, portraying Mr. Pruet on Senior Day, and setting up committees for various activities were a few of her jobs. Besides being class prexie, she was also head majorette, president of the Quill and Palm, and a member of the Music Club. Vice-President Allan Bugg took over the aforesaid tasks when Martha was absent, besides helping her accomplish them when she was present. He was Quill and Palm treasurer and a varsity football player. John Nottingham was appointed class secretary by Martha and Allan. He kept minutes of class meetings and was chairman of the Pep Club, assistant editor of the Compass, and historian of Quill and Palm. NANCY MONCURE January Chairman SANDRA SMITH Secretary of Jan.
