Take a million friendly greetings WEll ON THEIR WAY — Senior itart on their grand march on graduation night. PARIS IN A DAY — Putting up mural for the Junior-Senior Prom are Regina Burton, Barbara Lemmon, and Nancy Richardton. SENIOR CLASS HISTORY The Spirit of '56 has been many places this year wherever a single member of the senior class could be found! Spirit was especially high in the spring when the class play, Diploma Daze, took place. The comedy, featuring flashbacks on events typical of the senior year, was written and directed by class members. However, as important as these things are, the class left more than laughter and happy memories behind. They left encouragement and help to those who would follow them. One outstanding aid was a $400 scholarship which will be awarded to a '57 graduate. A second gift, with yet another thought in mind, was a donation for flowers for the memorial for World War II veterans. The third was the customary farewell gift, in this case, the presentation of two flags to replace those in the auditorium. Seniors gave backing, spirit, to G.W.—and received in return an unforgettable year! 8
