(jjyv IjDJUL 0 0 FOREWORD With the long awaited strains of Pomp and Circumstance” just beyond our hearing range, we, the class of ’50, begin to look back over the years we spent in the old familiar classrooms. It is here that we dreamed the dreams of youth, learned of the past, prepared for the future, and wrote the first chapter of our lives. There were many golden moments in that chapter. Now in- delibly written in our minds, some of the most impressive have been chosen to be highlighted in the ’50 Cavalier. May we in the years to come as we turn the pages of our yearbook be recalled to our high school days and think fondly to ourselves, I remember.”
