Teaching basketball at Hookersville, Texas, is none other than Helen Vincent. The majority of her varsity team are children of Ora Lee Wallace. Marilyn Ferguson is the private secretary of Harold Arrington. Mary Dade is owner of a Crocheting Shoppe at Grassland, Oklahoma. At pre- sent she is crocheting a sweater for Reuben Lewis. Marion Hughes is en-route to Germany to meet her husband. Freddie Williams and Lucy Randolph own a five-hundred acre farm in Brown Cedar, Montana. Lottie Goodall is doing private bookkeeping for Robert Beasley in Pencilhead, Indiana. At the present Ruby Lightfoot is teaching neatness at Crowhill High School, in Rockhill, Missouri. Irmeshen Jordan is teaching Home Economics at Button Hall High School, in Dice City, Michigan. Most of the children belong to Mary Johnson. Martha Harris is now professor at Cortez Peters’ Bussiness School, in Wash- ington, D. C. Clarence Yeager is now in a fast trot and can’t stop. CLASS PROPHECY The Crystal Ball reveals what our classmates will be doing ten years from now. Margaret Brown has just received her divorce from Warner Edwards, the center for the Harlem Globetrotters, and is residing in New Jersey, where she is part owner of an exclusive Dress Shoppe along with Earline Daniels. Charles Mills has finally been persauded by Mary E. Carpenter to say “I Do. ” The big question in Charles’ mind is, How did I ever get into this? ?” Rosie Wise is now teaching Physical Education at Boogie High School, Roos- ter Tail, Connecticut. The majority of her students are the children of Vel- ma Johnson. Virginia Carpenter has given up her career of Business and is on tour with her husband, Ricky, who is the leader of the Five Pilgrims Quartette. William Greene and Alvin Ellis are owner of the Weed” Cigarette factory in North Carolina. (No profit has been made due to the fact that Alvin makes them, and Greene smokes them.) .Louise Jackson, the Physical Education major, is now teaching her Jackson Pivot” to her varsity team at Carver. Do you have a toothache, earache, backache, or nose trouble? If so, run, don’t walk, to Dr. Mary Beck’s office, Moosecall, Alabama. Charlotte Nixon is working as her nurse. Together they guarantee to get rid of any of these troubles within a week. Gorge Love is pitching for the Brooklyn Dodgers along with James White. George’s greatest pleasure came when he struck out Freddie Braxton, catcher of the Milwaukee Braves. Eva Taliaferro is now captain of the Metropolitan Women Police. Frances Wise is her private secretary. Kenneth Jackson, Warren Spottswood, Gene Brown, and Edward Wormley are being featured for the tenth consecutive week at the fabulous Zanzibar Club in Buffalo. Hattie Gray, head nurse of Mercy Hospital, Philadephia, Penn., has chosen Dolores Bridgett as her assistant. Gertrude Willis’ private secretary at Glen Hall, West Virginia, is Mattie Hill. Deloyd Avery is now modeling at the Tall Apparel Shop owned and operated by Mary Ellis. Rev. DeKoven Porter has added two new members, Margo Brock and Geneva Green, to his Church in Trenton, New Jersey. The art instructor of Morgan State College is none other than Alvin Brown. His wife, the former Laura Watson, is among the faculty as a Nursing Instructor. Teaching quietness to their three children are James Finks and Mable Lewis, of Good Hope, Canada. James Ward never did make his trip to Jamaica, New York. He is residing in Achsah on his turkey farm.

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the Seniors of 1955-56, being of sound mind, hereby bequeath this last will and testament. ARTICLE I To the faculty, we bequeath our solemn pledge to ever uphold our Alma Mater. ARTICLE II To our advisors, we bequeath the prayers of power and wisdom that they may continue to counsel and advise others as they have done for us. ARTICLE III To the Juniors, we wish to will a successful and happy year such as we have had. To the Sophomores, we wish to will them our ability to have a very successful prom. To the Freshmen, we wish to bestow upon you our well worn text books for your Senior studies. To the Eighth Grade, we wish to will to you our courage to go on and complete your five years here at Carver. ARTICLE IV To Mr. Finlay and Mrs. Blair, our thanks in making our Senior term a happy one. To Miss Taylor, a Senior Class that will remain in their seats. Louise Jackson wills to Barbara Taliaferro her ability to flirt. Ora Wallace wills her English book to Frances Wallace. Charles Mills wills his position on the football team to Jackie Taliaferro. Laura Watson wills her ability to keep striving until she reaches the right of achievement to Viola Robinson. Geneva Greene wills to June Johnson and Julia Warring her ability to play with the opposite sex and still don’t freeze. Margaret Brown wills her ability to keep a secret to Gloria Jett. Deloyd Avery and Marion Hughes will to Robert Dorsey a doll baby to play with in his classes. Mattie Hill wills to Bernice Jameson her boy friend John Hawkins. Mary Johnson wills her Shirley Temple curls to Virginia Jordan. Robert Beasley wills his front seat in Miss Taylor’s room to Gilbert Robinson. Marilyn Ferguson wills her seat in the nurse’s room to Lillie Mae Morton. Warren Spottswood wills his first trumpet position to Beverly Brown. Alvin Brown wills his ability to draw to Lawrence Beasley. Hattie Gray wills her ability to get along with others to her sisters Regina and Claudine.
