TO THE CLASS OF 1956 Dear Friends, It is surely a pleasure to congratulate you! The very first class from this institution to achieve the honor of completing the entire five years! You have mastered our 12th grade, and now you are undoubtedly looking for New Worlds” to conquer. How do you plan to succeed in the new challenges that we must send you out to meet? We wish that you may be found very faithful, capable, and courageous. Whether your des- tination leads through college halls or immedi- ately into the world of jobs and wages, may you be found valiant. I have just one other wish for the class of 1956. May you prove your gratitude for all the gifts and opportunities that you may receive. Devotedly yours, Carrie W. Michie Assistant Principal It is with pleasure and a great deal of pride that I have the opportunity and special privilege of expressing to you, the members of the class of 1956, my sincere wishes for a happy, fruitful and healthy life. You, as mem- bers of a senior class, will be moving into a more mature life which will demand far more of you than that to which you have been accli- mated. Therefore, I suggest and advise that you continue to study and be as good at your future tasks as your individual abilities permit. Our society is extremely complex today; therefore, it is advisable to be flexible in thought and learn to adjust yourselves to dif- ferent situations in a changing world. I am grateful for all the good you have done for the school during your enrollment here. Further, I wish to express my appre- ciation to the many individuals who have intel- ligently and devotedly assisted in preparing you for a new horizon. r TO THE CLASS OF 1956 My dear Friends, Very sincerely yours, Harvey A. Fleshmfbn Principal
