VecUcatiM, As in the past we, the Senior Class of 1952, are dedicating THE HAWK to the persons of our choice. We have humbly selected our class sponsors--Mrs . Viola P. Blair and Mr. Frederick I. Hawkins, who have patiently worked with us during our eventful Senior year. Mrs. Blair is a graduate of Virginia State College, where she received her A.B. degree in English; and she has also taken graduate work at the University of Pennsylvania and Virginia State College. Mrs. Blair has taught in Culpeper for eight years. Mr. Hawkins is a graduate of Livingstone College and has taken graduate work at New York University. He is a major in social studies and has taught school at Carver four years. With profound gratitude to Mrs. Blair ana Mr. Hawkins, we aeaicate this Yearbook in remembrance of their guidance ana inspiration that have led us thus far.
