Engineering Training Division provides a training environment for all personnel reporting to the Department. This allowed them to concentrate entirely on completing basic qualifications, learning the many systems and adjusting to shipboard life. The division was formally established on 24 August 1994 by the Chief Engineer. Each instructor was “hand selected and is well experienced in their rate as well as other engineering rates. The division acts as the focal point for all qualification and training related matters as well as long range off ship school management.
