ir life N -ui sit The Junior Varsity Baseball team had an outstanding year. Under the lead- ership of Coach Barry Russell, the Raiders finished out the season with a 7-4 record. Marc Patterson and Bob- by Schultz were among the team's elite players. The team's determina- tion and hard-work earned them the second place position in their region. A key game was the double-header against North Cobb where the Raid- ers swept both games. Additionally the team won all of their last six games to end the season on a winning note. A positive attitude and tremendous love for the game, made the season a suc- cess in the record book and also in the hearts of the players. .levi-' f,i5'7,gf.. Q ,pil 10 6. Allright! 7. Coach Bowen and Coach Karl led the girls through some tough competition! The girls had great team spirit as well as atti- tude. The closeness of the team grew very strong as the season progressed and was evident in their perfor- mances. Some of the outstanding con- tributors were Maureen Cavenagh at shortstop, Stacey Bidwell, second base, and Karen Wilson as Left field- er. The Lady Raiders gained some ex- perience which will give them an edge on the competition next year. .ug-,,.,' if hi' i it V .. -fe, -t,r,., r ,O W , W, Nw, T V2 i 1.
