YOUNG Do you think being a Christian IS boring? Do you really understand what Young Life is all about'7 Have you found yourself laughing so hard at a stupid skit that your eyes are bursting with tears'7 If you found yourself laughing on the floor then you must have been to Walton s Young Life this year Walton High School IS finding out what Young Life is about and is spreading the news Young Life IS a non denominational Christian ministry for High School students that IS growmg stronger The pur pose of all this IS to let Walton know that Jesus love is for real and can be relevant in our everyday l1fe Walton students are shown this through clubs on Thursday nights bible studies CCampa1gnersD and most of all the sensitive spirit and love shown by the leaders The leaders are really dedicated on be ing there for us whenever we need them It could be from a warm hug to just a shoulder to cry on But most of all they are helping us de cide on the most important things 1n life Waltons Young Life has shown students that being a Chris tian isn t boring but a lot more ex citing than some say Some stu dents have found that club 1snt enough. Next thing they know, they are on a bus to Colorado, in the mud fight at Windy Gap, or hiking up to Pioneer Plonge. Through it all, we've grown spiri- tually and made long lasting friends that will last longer than a life-time. Thank you for letting Young Life be so special this year: Gerry, Eric, Brett, Nina, Melinda, Ali, and Mary Beth. We love you! -Class of '88. 1. Melinda shares in Kim's excitement. 2.
