We re Flnall here Most of this year freshmen class felt they had to adjust to the merge of middle schools due to the opening of a new high school in our county. Then on the other hand, many people felt they had made great friends whom they will keep for many years to come. For many the first day of school brings about a feeling of apprehensiveness for the in coming freshman, feelings of fear after hearing horror stories from the up- perclassmen. How did you think your first day of high school was going to be? . . . I thought I'd get lost . . . I feared that the older kids would pick on me . .. Being called a F reshman . . . Getting mean teachers . . . Meeting new peoplew . . . I expect- ed the food to be good . . . The halls to be crowded and to be pushed around.
