NIOU N TAIN I CHO Class News CLASS OF 45 Class Officers President Nl1lO Anderson V1ce President Dana Conary Se retary Treasurer Constance Butler Class Roll Lester Jones Lillian Ladd Roger Leach Hugh L lghton Lawrence Matthews Everett Stover Lillian Stover T1lden Wessel Kendall Allen Nulo Anderson Donald BISSEL Constance Butler Pearl Cartel Dana Conary Wendell Grindle Thelma Higgins Our class started in September w1th six teen members Kendall Allen Thelma thew were added to our original number During the year we lost T1lden Wessel and Lester Jones The Junior class immensely enJoyed the 10111 pops which they received for the first time when they won the annual volleyball tournament last fall In basketball Pearl Carter Dana Conary Everett Stover and Wendell Grindle made the first team while Kendall Allen Donald B1sset Lester Jones Lawrence Matthews and T1lden Wessel were 1n the J V s Roger Leach was team manger Members taking part 1n the Junior Senior speaking contest were Roger Leach Hugh Leighton and Lawrence Matthews The class contributed 1ts share to the Senior Play in which Roger Leach Donald B1sset and Constance Butler took part Kendall Allen Donald B1sset Dana Conary Roger Leach and Hugh Leighton helped fill the band New members of the Natronal Honor So Clety were N11lo Anderson Pearl Carter and Roger Leach Student Council members were Donald B1sset Roger Leach and N11lo Anderson This year the class of 45 has particxpat ed 1n many school act1v1t1es and as seniors it is hoped that they will contlnue to do so NlllO Anderson 45 Class Presldent CLASS OF 46 President Gerald Wotton V1ce Presldent Clifford Piper Secretary Treasurer Jane Grlndle Class Roll Kendall Hodgdon D rothy Leach Arnold Astbury Dale Astbury Nellie Robertson George Snow Edward Snowman Kendall Wescott Gerald Wotton Walter Candage Donald Clark Waldo Collins Louis Freedman Jane Grindle Malcolm Hinckley The Sophomore Class started oif Wlth Hf teen members We have now recovered from our greenlsh personality of last year and have changed to a brrghter hue Dur ing the year Arnold Astbury and Walter Candage left school but Dorothy Leach and Kendall Wescott Joined us Kendall later going to New Jersey We were represented ID the Senior play by George Snow We were also represent ed in the Student Council by Gerald Wot ton I the Freshman Sophomo e Speakmg Exhibitron Dale Astbury George Snow Gerald Wotton and Waldo Collln were chosen to speak at the town hall We contributed quite a number of mem bers to the band George Snow Donald Clark Kendall Hodgdon Gerald Wotton Malcolm Hinckley and Louis Freedman We put the Freshmen through a very eventful evening by sponsoring the Fresh man reception .
