For making the highest school score on the Betty Crocker Future Homemaker examination, Lenore Maslikowski was named Clark’s future homemaker. Bausch and Lomb Company awarded its honorary science medal to Alvin Silvian because of his having the highest high school science scholastic record. “I Speak for America” was the essay subject which was profitable for Maynard Kessler, Arlene Matis, and Carol Maus. They competed in a contest sponsored by the American Legion and qualified for the district finals. 21
