All the worlds a stage, and all the men and women merely — As You Like It, Act II PROLOGUE We, the Dionysians of George K. Porter Junior High School, Spring 1964, do humbly dedicate this annual to the faculty for the knowledge they have so unselfishly passed on to us, to our parents for their constant faith in us, and to our friends for their loyalty and encouragement. We express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Wexler for his personal guidance concerning our class activities. We shall forever carry fond memories of our pleasant years at Porter, and we will always look bock upon them with feelings of pride. As our late President John F. Kennedy had always shown faith in the youth of America, so must we show faith in ourselves and our future. May this ever be ; ( our purpose in life. Tom Broyles A9 Class President

9 K mMwav ' The assassin ' s bullet will not change the course of history . . — Disraeli . . . It is for us, the liv- ing, rather, to be dedicated, here, to the unfinished work that they have ... so nobly carried on . . . that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they here gave the last full measure of devotion; that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain; that the nation shall, under God, have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, for the peo- ple, shall not perish from the earth. — A. Lincoln 1917 JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY 1963 35th President of the United States A strong America requires the assurance of full and equal rights to all its citizens, of any race or of any color ... Ask not what your country can do for you, but rather, what you can do for your country. Ask not what America can do for you. Ask what we can do together for the freedom of man.
