Rebel Razors V' ROW, l-r: Pat Yaeger, Anne Timberlake, Pam Dorris, Terry Della Kight BACK ROW' Pam Murray, Karen Goldstein, Doris Cheryl Webb, Susan Anderson, Nancy Gabriel his year, for the first time, Gillette Hall and UDC got together to form basketball team. The result was a team with the improbably name of Rebel Razors. Outstanding individual players from both dorms got gether to form one unit, pulling together, to unite the two dorms in their thusiasm forthe team. ' Beta Kappa Tau The Betas always have a lot of interest in basketball but this year the Captain, Polly Walker, has aroused more interest than ever. We have had line support all year and leading the yells have been Roxanne Wood, Nancy Gritiin, Jan Heffron, Kathy Albritton, and Judy Thiele. Their spirit has spilled onto the basketball court as witnessed by the play of freshmen Susan Allen, Karen Kraemer, and Melba Mallard. Judy Daves, Karen Ketron, Ann McAlp'ine and Sharon Woodward have done a fine guarding and rebounding job while being substantially supplemented at the roving positions by the excellent hustle and play of Carol Lynn Pierce and Pat Stansell. l East Hall BA CK ROW, I-r: Linda Groover, Linda Laedher, Suzanne Collier, Wanda Johnson, Stephanie Hayes FRONTROW' Gloria Colson, Carol Walker, Marcella Mosely. FRONT ROW' Mary Smith, Meredith Smith, Cathy Davis, Sarah Risser, Leslie Peschel. Delta made it to the top of the intramural basketball league in an un- defeated season. They again showed their skill and will to win by emerging as the victor in the all-star playofT. Intramural basketball It was a busy season this year with each team playing six games plus the final all-star game which pits the team winning the greatest number of their games against the best from the rest of the teams. Watching these games, one could see that all the players were doing their best to win and enjoying every minute of it. Independents The independents, although plaqued with difficulty in rounding up players, played with teamwork and enthu- siasm,

The players were never in bad spirits, and the cheering section helpv keep the spirits high. We had a good season this year and we have high hope for a better season next year. 260
