Joey Horobetz and Sallie Stringfellow confer at the typewriter. Creativity is a word that is stressed to all beginning teachers and we find it no forgotten policy here at Peabody. TREK is creativity in action. It is the annual literary publication by and for students. It is a collection ofthe thoughts of anyone who takes the time to turn them in. The TREK staff has the diiiicult task of reading, evaluating, and deciding which selections will appear in the finished copy. It is difficult because creativity had no set standards ofjudg- ment. 207

We sometimes tend to take a newspaper for granted. It's there every week with articles we find entertaining, informative, humorous, and occasionally, a combination of all three. We may not always agree with the opinions but they're well written, and most of all, they make us stop and think. A college newspaper is not supposed to be the voice of the Administration. It is written for the students, by the students. The stall' may not always be completely organized, but the Peabody Post is. And the end will justify the means. I
