Pillar Linda Robbins presents Marsha Gagel with a 1969 PILLAR and the Editorship of 1970. Assistant Editor, Penny Puckett finds a typewriter at great friend. l Our Fearless Leader, Dean Cook A yearbook is a personal thing that seems to be a liv- ing memory, especially to the staffers who put a little of their soul in pictures, layouts, and copy. It's not always easy to find the time, and it takes dedication, but seeing something that you have created in print makes the job worth while. A yearbook is the history of a school year. It is a memory refresher when you forget the name, but remember the face. It's all those pictures you meant to get, but forgot the camera. We didn't forget ours. We try new techniques, and make some mistakes, but ii in ten years, you pull a dusty PILLAR down from the shelf, and smile as you recall something you had forgotten, we have succeeded. Dick Richardson helps with Senior rings as well as PILLAR '70.
