Charles Faulkner, Emory Sewell, Ted Fore, jack jacques, Carl liaulor. Football Four teams entered the intramural touch football tournament and it required a play-oil game between two highly erlicient and well-balanced teams to decide the championship. Bud's Bullets, Fearless Fifteen, Terrible Ten, and the Rebels were the teams competing in the double round-robin tournament. The Terrible Ten and the Rebels each finished the regular schedule with five wins and a lone loss. The lirst meeting of these two teams saw Carl Kantor spark the Terrible Ten to a 13-I2 win by returning a Pullt 77 yards lor a touchdown. The Rebels evened the score in their next meeting with the Terrible Ten by handing their rivals a l3-6 loss to set the stage for the play-OH game. The championship gaine proved just how well matched these two teams were. 'l'he Rebels, sparked by Ken Stevens, Bill Flanagan, Aloe Avery, Ray Donald Dean, Don Parder. and Don Johnson, downed the Terrible Ten 7-0 for the title. The only touchdown ol' the game came in the second quarter when lf,lanag'an took a pitch out from Stevens, faked an end run, and then passed to Don Johnson who caught the hall on the 20 yard line and went over the goal line untouched. Outstanding players for the Terrible Ten were Charles Faulkner, .lack Nance, Emory Sewell, Red Hawkins, Aloe Potts, and Carl Kantor.
