NX Qs-.LP It was another good year of lun and working together for the members ol the Beta Kappa Tau. Nothing they enjoy better than planning and giving rush parties for new students, first was the animal tea, then came a scene from Hawaii, the Hawaiian Party, next was the Show Boat Party with a gala floor show. The pledges are then informally initiated and proudly wear the red BKT caps along with other tasks that go along with Hell Wleek which in the end turns into Help Wfeek, which con- sisted of making ornamented boxes for the girls at the Tennessee School for the Blind. Formal initiation is next in the year's events. No one will forget the pledges Page 132 banquet with each pledge reading her poem about the Betas. The highlight ol' the year was the Pledge Dance, Moonlight and Roses. Along comes Easter and we girls make Easter baskets for Clover Bottom. Other events were the Cake Sale and Carousel olf Fun l'or the VV.U.S. and 1-louse Party in the Spring. Last was the annual breakfast honoring the seniors. 1955-56 was another year ol fun and friend making for the members olf the Beta Kappa Tau. XfVe were very fortunate and appreciative of our sponsors this year, Mrs. NV ard and Miss Robertson.
