Kappa Phi Kappa vE12lTas .L :S y l X PH' Kappa Phi Kappa was founded on February 27, 1922, by R. I-I. Jordan from Cornell and Arthur C. VVright of Dartmouth. Kappa Phi Kappa is a professional educa- tion fraternity, the purpose of which is to promote the cause ol education by encouraging men of sound moral character and recognized ability to engage in the study of its principles and problems. The Beta Epsilon chapter of Peabody College was formed in 1940 under the capable leadership of Dr. joseph Roemer, Felix Robb and C. E. Priest. Since these beginnings the growth of Kappa Phi Kappa has been steady and consistent, until now there are over forty chapters on the rolls, extending from Maine to Alabama and westward to Calilornia. Beta Epsilon ranks high on the national level. O1 the thirteen National Councilors elected to a two year term of ollicc, at the 1954 General Assembly held in Cincinnati, Beta Epsilon had two members elected. P. E. The P. E. M. Club is composed ol majors and minors in physiral education. The club is a branch of the ganixation ol' Iflealth, Pliysical Education and Recreation.
