GARRISON The Peabody Home licononiics Club is alliliated with the college club section ol the American Home Eco- nomics Association and with the Tennessee I-Ioine Eco- nomics Association. These connections provide help, inspiration, and an enlarged conception of the potential of the Held of Home Economics. The purpose of this organization is to provide an opportunity for girls to combine educational and busi- ness interests ancl to strengthen the conhdence of the 24 g . bg Ja Sl Z .11 girl in herself, her home, and lu-r coinniunity, and to create a desire in college students to better understand social and cultural conditions ol' connnunity and laniily life. Some ol' the activities lor the year have been a mein- bership party, Christmas Gilt and Valentine party, visits from hair stylists, bridal consultant and china dealers, with the annual picnic to close out the year.

Peabody Nurses Club The Peabody Nurses' Club is one of the oldest clubs on the campus, having been organized in l929. Mem- bership is open to public health nurses both on the campus and to non-resident nurses. Objectives of the club include professional, service and social activities. Support ol' the Aurelia B.
