Inlerdormilory Council The three women's residence halls on Peabody campus constitute the Inter-Dormitory Council. It is at repre- sentative orgzinizzttion whose members consist of the president of each dormitory, at representative elected from the dormitory :is ll whole, and zi representative elected from the floor counselors. Miss Ida Long Rogers, Director ol Student Life, is advisor to the group. The council lormulzttes rules and handles matters per- tinent to all ol the women's dormitories. The ollicizil instrument ol: the orgzinizzttion is the constitution. As the highest ztutliority ol' women's student goverinnent, this coordinating council considers the general welfare and common interests olf women students in residence and makes every effort to provide lor their needs. Elementary Council The Peabody Elementary Council is a student branch olf the Association lor Childhood Education Inter- national. This international organization, interested in better education for children, has a national nienibership ol' approximately 75,0llll, with inenibers in over fifty loreign countries. to all students, both graduate and uiidergracluate. or teachers interested in better childhood education. Highlighting the activities of the Council each year is the Spaghetti Supper. This project promotes a greater opportunity for members to cooperate and become better acquainted with one another and with the faculty.
