The Student Council seeks to promote better cooperation between student body and administration, sponsor a more effective extracurricular program, and undertake projects lor the bcnelit of the student body. This ear the Student Council is ver Jroud of its Y Y l program. At the beginning ol the year the Orientation 104 program. led by Edith Ann Bridges, was designed to familiarize all freshman and transfer students with the college program. The social calendar was filled with wonderful dances, a skating party, and many social events planned by the Social Committee and headed by joe Ferguson, The council helped give suggestions lor the planning of new buildings on campus. Work on pre- registration is still being backed. This has been a lull and delightful year, and we have enjoyed working with Miss Ida Long Rogers. 'We thank her lor her help and guidance in many olf our projects and activities.
