Page 74 EUNICE BATEY GOODALL Eunice Goodall, one of Peabody's most outstanding seniors, was chosen by popular election to reign as Miss Peabody of 1954. Eunice, whose home is Birmingham, Alabama has been active in all types of campus activities during her school years. She is an elementary education major, has served on the Elementary Council and holds membership in the honorary educational fraternity, Kappa Delta Pi. She was vice-president of the Student Council before assuming the duties of president after the vacating of this post. She served as pledge president of Pi Gamma Chi, social sorority, and holds membership in Pi Gamma Mu, honorary social science fraternity. She was active in the Women's Recreational Association and served as worship chairman and president of the Student Christian Association. She was listed in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges this year. The outstanding traits of character and leadership which entitle her to this honor also assure her success in future years. She has truly earned her title of Miss Peabody.

Page 76 . Wnalwdq, VVAYNE BOVVLES 'Wayne Bowles, from Gallatin, Tennessee, was chosen by popular election as Mr. Peabody. Wayne, a social studies major, has been very active in stu- dent allairs during his four years here at Peabody. He has served on the Student Council and has done much to improve school spirit. Being active in fraternal affairs he has served as both secretary and President of Phi Chi Alpha social fraternity and as treasurer of Kappa Phi Kappa, professional education fraternity. He is a member of the Entrepreneurs and has served on the Orientation committee. He has been an outstanding leader on campus and has done much to uphold the spirit of the school. He deserves the title of Mr. Peabody.
