The spirit of cooperation was excellent in spite of the different backgrounds of the residents. The greatest tragedy of the year was the theft of the new television set during the Thanksgiving holidays. The winter quarter was marked by two social events, a dessert party in cooperation with Graduate Hall, and the annual Open House. The latter was the work ol Jimmy Cox and his many helpers. lVith the coming of spring, and Campusology 405, the inmates of YVest began looking forward to vacation rather than worrying about how to pay for the new TV or how to pass llnals.
