The noticeably flagging school spirit of recent years received a shot in the arm, when rooter’s buses for away games were provided free of charge with the aid of the Booster’s As- sociation. This practice was expanded to a greater degree, when the Boosters provided three Greyhound buses for the benefit of students desiring to travel to Charlottsville for the Regional Basketball Tournament. Students generally were more than willing to take advantage of the situation. George Mason was treated to several excep- tional stage productions during the year. Of special note was the dance group’s interpretation of Alice in Wonderland and the Drama Club ' s production of The Miracle Worker. As in previous years, the Junior Class’ “Clockwork Banana” was no more or less hetic than that of any other Junior Variety Show. 10
