The beginning of the '70's found George Mason's horizons expanding. Student Life was the aspect of the school most radical- ly affected by the changes. Student in- volvement in activities became as diverse as the offerings. Involvement was not necessarily confined to school as students acknowledged the influence of world events by developing priorities in their obliga- tions to themselves and others. The six classes devised new methods of approach- ing class projects, sponsored activities and formal dances. To reflect these changes, Mustang '70 is an experiment in organization. For the first time the Theme, Sports and Fea- tures sections have been combined chronologically to emphasize student oriented activities. fc X
