THANKS r— ELIZABETH CAREY MINAS Mention the name Elizabeth Carey Minas to a GFC student and the first thing he or she probably thinks of is the academic scholarships given in her name. However, the dedication and commitment Elizabeth Carey Minas shows for George Fox College is far more valuable than the $30,000 given each year to deserving students. Every weekday since 1971, this 76 year old lady has voluntarily worked in Shambaugh Library giving a half- day of her valuable service. Minas was a professional librarian for 37 years, but today she selflessly contributes her talents with exem- plary loyalty to the Col- lege. Her association with GFC is not limited to the last 14 years, however. She attended the school from 1927-29, and her father served as Presi- dent from 1947-50. For the willingness to serve and loyalty to the college for over 50 years, L ' Ami would like to ex- tend a special thanks to Elizabeth Carey Minas. 12 • SPECIAL THANKS

TIM TSOHANTARIDIS Tim Tsohantaridis, or Mr. T , as the soccer team affectionate- ly calls him, has become a living inspiration for GFC. His vivid stories from his childhood seem to challenge each listener to evaluate what living for Christ means. But more importantly, Tim Tsohantaridis has become a vital part of our campus. Filling the place of Ron Crecelius was a tremendous task, but Tim did not look at it that way. For him it meant another way to serve Christ. And that is exactly what Tim has done. Thanks, Mr. T for serving God here at Fox! RON CRECELIUS Ron Crecelius had been a chaplin for 18 years before he moved in to the title of Chaplain Emeritus in 1985. He now devotes his time to speaking and ministering through- out the West. He graduated from Fox with two degrees, earned a masters from both Western Evangelical Semi- nary and Pasadena College. The students who knew him as their chaplain - loved him. The stu- dents who now know him as Chap- lain Emeritus - love him. The L ' ami staff tip their hats to Ron Crecelius and his endeavors here at George Fox College. May he have many more years of good counsel, ministry, and Joy at Fox.
