KFOX FM 89 From 2 or 3 hours a day, sometimes to more than 17 hours a day; from a staff of 3 to a staff of 35; from varied music, to the most contemporary Top 40 Chris- tian format on the West Coast. This in addition to location, administrative, and image changes, this is the story of our radio station KFOX. Under the careful direction of 6 year veteran to Contemporary Christian music, Program Director, Terry Dawson, the radio station underwent the most dramatic changes in its 10 year history. During the 1984-85 school year, FM89 established itself as a driving force in student commu- nication, as well as a student ministry organization on campus. The administrative staff included Ron West, General Business Manager. Supporting staff included Lorri Rittierodt, Administrative Assistant, Kyle Fen- ton, Operations Manager, and Dan Hyatt, Programing Intern, and Program Director for the 85-86 School year, Terry Dawson also served as Designer and Com- mercial Radio consultant for the station.
