VICTORIES AT FOX CTORIES: Dean Judson, Allen Hilton, Marcie Sanders, and Sharon Gilmore were the champi- ons in the 1984 College Bowl. Craig Littlefield and Sharon Gilmore received their gallon pins in the blood drive held at GFC on November 1. Arin Mares was found to have a severe muscle deterioration disease. Doctors said she could possibly lose her life or be in a wheel chair for the rest of her life. A special faith healing service was held for her at her church. When she returned to her doctor, all evidence of the disease had vanished. 1 John 5:4 NIV

FRESHMEN ORIENTATION The Freshman class and Transfer stu- dents started their new school year off by moving on campus a few days before the returning students came back. Sunday, Sep- tember 30, was a busy day for these new students as they moved into their dorms, met roommates for the first time, and got acquainted with the campus. The next few days were filled with class scheduling, mu- sic auditions, placement tests, the Presi- dent ' s Reception and Dinner, and the ASCGFC party. The class of 1988 came on campus with real excitement and a lot of class spirit. Their enthusiasm and love for God has shown through, as they eagerly trusted God for a good year at GFC. BROMCOONIRY

ASSOCIATED STUDENT COMl Allen Hilton, the ASCGFC student body president, has set goals that he ' d like to see accomplished this year. He ' d like to see students get more involved in making academic decisions. That ' s why the student academic committee has been formed. Allen would like to raise social awareness among George Fox stu- dents. To help accomplish this goal Anthony Campolo was brought in for a chapel service at the beginning of fall term. Another goal he has is to raise in- terest in student government. This goal, however, will not be realized until spring elections are held. One goal, which is a continuing goal every year, is to increase communication between students and faculty. The last very important goal that Allen has is to have Kool-Aide in every drinking fountain.
