Besides avid studying, activities are a prevalent part of this community. Movies, clubs, student government, concerts, or plays are offered weekly. One of the most outstanding quali- ties of these is the presence of Christ. Christ oriented programs such as Celebration, Chapel, fellowship cycle, discipleship, or summer missionary programs provide growth opportuni- ties. Not only through Christ, but through each other.

FRESHMEN ORIENTATION The Freshman class and Transfer stu- dents started their new school year off by moving on campus a few days before the returning students came back. Sunday, Sep- tember 30, was a busy day for these new students as they moved into their dorms, met roommates for the first time, and got acquainted with the campus. The next few days were filled with class scheduling, mu- sic auditions, placement tests, the Presi- dent ' s Reception and Dinner, and the ASCGFC party. The class of 1988 came on campus with real excitement and a lot of class spirit. Their enthusiasm and love for God has shown through, as they eagerly trusted God for a good year at GFC. BROMCOONIRY
