Dean of Sfmlenfs: Kennefll William: Woodrow Wilson has written that a man comes to himself only when he has found the best that is in him, and has satisfied his heart with the highest achievement he is fit for. It is only then that he knows of what he is capable and What his heart demands. We endeavor to provide opportunity for students to come to them- selves by providing in a liberal arts education With a full range of co-curricular activities the privilege for each student to work to his fullest capacity in a variety of areas. George Fox College is dedicated to the premise that the best in a person is discovered and his highest achievement is reached only when each finds his right relationship to J esus Christ. The dedica- tion of one's life to J esus as Lord and Master thrusts unlimited re- sponsibility on every person to achieve to the optimum of his capae bilities. Young people who have learned to lose themselves in ser vice to Christ learn to live for others, and thus attain the highest achievement for any man. Dean of Faaalfg: George Moore It has been a privilege to return to the faculty of George Fox Col- lege. The past year has intensified the conviction that the students and faculty have increasing opportunities in learning, in teaching, and in the integration of Christian truth into the total curriculum. My concern is that we learn the futility of selfueffort early, and that we make use of the divine resources promised us by the Christ who said, I am the Way, the Truth and' the Life. Dean of Administration: Harvey Campbell There are many formulas for success offered to college students. May I suggest that the students of George Fox College consider this quotation as a worthy goal. To know the laws of God in nature and revelation, and then to fash- ion the affections and will into harmony with those 1aws--this is ed- ucation. S. F. Scovel
