Winner of the best play cup was This Night Shall Pass , pre- sented by the sophomore-senior classes. Receiving the best acting awards were Kara Newell and John Davis, both freshmen. Interested in good literature, the members bring selections to be read and dis- cussed at their informal get-together. The purpose of this group is to promote literary appreciation on campus. Various demonstrations, lectures and teas were held throughout the year. Outstanding events include the Queen ' s Tea on May Day, and teas at the beginning of each semester.
