f WILMA ARCHAMBEAU is an English major from Scio, Oregon. During her Freshman year she was treasurer of Trefian. In her Sophomore year she was W A. A. treasurer, Sophomore representative on the Student Council and Student-Faculty commit- tee on Cooperation, and feature writer for the L ' Ami. During her Junior year she was president of Trefian, class president, and listed in Who ' s Who. As a Senior she was A. S. B. treasurer, L R. C. secre- tary and program chairman, Trefian vice-president, and feature writer for the Crescent. MONA COWLEY, from Newberg, Oregon, is a re- ligion major. She was a member of the Y. W. C. A. her first three years and a member of the Student Christian Union her Senior year. She has been a member of Trefian. In her Junior year she was Secretary of the Old Student Association and Social chairman. She took part in the S. B. play, Brief Music and her Senior class play. LLOYD S. CRESSMAN is a history major from Newberg, Oregon. He was pastor of the Newberg Friends Church, president of the Newberg Ministerial Association, president of the Missionary Board of Oregon Yearly Meeting, and taught the college Sunday school class. ELEANOR RUTH ELLIS, is a theology major from Canby, Oregon. She is a transfer from Simpson Bible Institute and Oregon College of Education. During her Senior year she was secretary-treasurer of her class, Trefian treasurer, took part in her Senior play, was a member of the orchestra, S. C. U., chorus, and I. R. C. KENNETH FOWLER, from Newberg, Oregon, is an economics and sociology major. He has been a mem- ber of the Y. M. C. A., M. A. A., and Gold P club. He has been active in the I. R. C, forensics, or- chestra, and string ensemble. BARBARA GARRETT is from Newberg, Oregon and is a major in chemistry. In her Freshman and Sophomore years she was a member of the Y. W. C. A., W. A. A., chorus, and writer for the Crescent. When she was a Junior she was a member of the debate team, Trefian, Y. W. C. A., a writer for the Crescent, and May Day Generalissimo. During her Senior year she debated, belonged to the S. C. U., Homecoming committee, business manager of the Trefian, I. R. C, was class Social chairman, business manager for Crescent, and worked on the L ' Ami. THELMA H. GREEN is a religion major from New- berg, Oregon. She belonged to the Y. W. C. A. for three years, and to the S. C. U. her Senior year. She was a member of the W. A. A. for two years, and in the chorus all four years. She was active in deputation work her first three years. As a Senior she took part in her class play. ABE A. LOEWEN is a history major from Salem, Oregon. VIOLA NIXON, of Newberg, Oregon, is an English major. In the Y. W. she was chairman of the Chris- tian World Education, Social service, and Deputation committees. She belonged to the W. A. A. In her Junior year she was secretary- treasurer of her class, representative on the Student-Faculty committee on Cooperation, and Trefian president. In her Senior year she was S. C. U. Social chairman, Social com- mittee chairman for Trefian and Trefian critic, chief treasurer, and co-chairman of the Homecominj banquet. JOYCE PERISHO is a music major from Newberg, Oregon. During her Freshman years she was W. A. A. treasurer and Effie in June Mad . She was vice-president of the Gold Q when she was a Sopho- more and during her Junior year she was president of the Gold Q club and vice-president of Trefian. She was also a member of the May Queen ' s court. When a Senior, Joyce was both critic and president of Trefian, vice-president of A. S. B., nd secretary of the S. C. U. G. BURTON FROST, of Newberg, Oregon, is an Eng- lish major. During his first three years in college he was soccer manager, in the May Day and Fresh- man play, president of the Y. M. C. A., member of the Men ' s Glee club, college male quartet, and chorus. In his Senior year he was class president, member of the M. A. A. and Gold P. club. EVANGELYN SHATTUCK is a psychology and edu- cation major from Gresham, Oregon. As a Sophomore she was class secretary, Crescent associate editor, and worked on the L ' Ami. Her Junior year was spent at Cascade College, Portland. When a Senior she was class vice-president, president of the Actorators club, on the Crescent staff, and took part in the A. S. B. play, Brief Music .
