Mildred Haworth, next year ' s editor, served an apprentice- ship as associate editor. The remainder of the staff consisted of Orrin Ogier, Advertising Manager ; Kathleen Repp, Business Man- ager ; Betty June Ruden, News Editor; Jack Willcuts, Feature Editor ; Betty Ann Roberts, Circulation Manager. Various other students reported during the year. Mr. Lewis is advisor.

a 2 ' A 4fU The L ' Ami this year felt the effects of rhe war situation to a greater degree than was originally expected. Shortages of film, paper, cover materials and lack of students all faced the staff, which neverthless made the best use of materials available. The L ' Ami, published annually, is a student body publication. Geraldine Thar- rington and Betty June Ruden were editors for the 1944 edition. Betty Ashwill served as art editor, Mildred Haworth as organiza- tion editor, while Terrell Repp and Lewis Hoskins were L ' Ami photographers. Mary Lou Kohler, business manager; Mary Frances Nordyke, advertising, and Mahlon Macy, circulation, completed the staff.
