In addition to these, the girl ' s letterman club solicited funds from former members for the new gymnasium. Officers during 1943 were: Doris Manning, President, Joyce Perisho, Vice President ; Kathleen Repp, Secretary ; Margery Wohl- gemuth, Treasurer. Elections held in January installed Joyce Perisho as President; Geraldine Tharrington, Vice President; Betty Ann Craven, Secretary, and Mildred Haworth, Treasurer. QoUp Gold P carried on its traditional functions this year despite war shortages. The initiation of new members, the Gold P banquet, and the sponsorship of a grade school softball tournament, were some of its principal activities. The club cooperated in contacting former members and other old students in the interests of the new gymnasium fund. Officers for ' 43- ' 44 were; Mahlon Macy, President; Arthur R oberts, Sectretary-treasurer. The annual Gold P basketball tournament was not held this year, but it is planned that in the new gymnasium next year, it will be possible to again carry on this function.
