Sophomores In the fall of 1938 a class of thirty-six freshmen was initiated into Pacific College. Under the leadership of their president, Virgil Nor dyke, they had a very active year. Included in their activities was the presentation of the class play, Second Fiddle, by Guernsey LePelly, held late in March. Wesley Jeffrey was elected president of the class this year. After his resig- nation Bill Rarick, the vice-president, took over the president ' s duties. Anita Schlict- ing is the secretary-treasurer. The sophomore class, which now totals fifteen members, climaxed a week of freshman initiation with a long blind-fold walk into the country, where they had a wiener roast.
