Heelan Superintendent Of Schools TO THE CLASS OF 1981: The struggle for energy sources will loom as a major problem for the 1980's. Developing alterna- tives to oil - such as nuclear reactors, oil shale, coal, hydrogen fusion, solar voltaic cells and solar collectors - will be the focus of our concern for the next several decades. Whether we progress from an oil-based economy or recede into a wood-burning culture will be decided by our na- tional leaders and our will and determination to set goals and achieve those goals. So it is with you - the 1981 graduates of Tuxedo. The energy you bring to your future careers will hinge on your ability to determine where you want to go and how you are going to get there. We hope that the knowledge and skills you have learned at Tuxedo High School will give you a seif confidence that will enable you to exert the type of leadership that our society is desperately crav- ing for today. The Teachers, Board of Education, and Admin- istration extend our best wishes to the students and families of the 1980 class.
