Row Two: Carol Gammon, Rachel Dot Hankinson, Linda Popovich, Karen Ruckman. Varsity Softball Completing season with strong showing DIANE MORRISON displays her skill as a fielder. The Varsity Girls Softball Team, under the guidance of Coach Wagoner, has played a fine season. The ex¬ perience of the players returning from last year, was combined with the enthusiasm of the new players, to produce a team capable of victory. Track Strength, depth and potential insure a successful season DON HAURIN crouches very low in order to have an excellent run¬ ning broad jump. I 18 Marshall ' s track team displayed its power by placing a close second in the Fairfax County Relays and fourth in the Alexandria Memorial Relays. With strong runners in all events, Marshall ' s tracksters set three county records and established themselves as a ma¬ jor power in track circles. A combination of speed, strength, and sportsmanship helped the team finish in the true Marshall tradition.
