Row Two: Coach Cloud, Don Bullock, Rick Matozzi, Gary Matozzi, John Kuper, Howard Smith, Lloyd Halvorson, Coach Hoy. Varsity Wrestling I 1 Star wrestlers, winners in state tourney The Wrestling Team, paced by state champions Howard Smith and Lloyd Halvorson, completed their season with a successful 6-6 record. This record is especially noteworthy since this year ' s squad con¬ tained only six returning lettermen from the I 963- 64 team. The boys, under the direction of Coaches Cloud and Hoy, developed into a well-coordinated team of which Marshall can be proud. The Junior Varsity squad won 2 of its 5 matches. The jayvee ' s outstanding wrestler was Tim Kantz. Kantz, participating in his first year of wrestling-, posted a four win and no loss record. John Herbots attended Boys ' State and the Marshall representative. The team placed eight out of 18 in Northern Virginia to end a very satisfactory season.
