Hunt I Jefferson 3 Herndon 0 Madison I Lee They 0 I 0 I 0 I Varsity Hockey Girls finish with 5-2-1 record Victorious five times, the 1964 varsity hockey team started ' the year with high hopes. Coached by Miss Denise Stephenson, the girls scored a total of 13 points with only 3 points scored against them. The first loss was suffered against Fairfax, 1-0, and the season was finished with a 5-2-1 record. The outlook for next year is promising, although the team is losing several valuable seniors. They improved steadily as the season progressed, and played outstanding football. Highlights of the season included their win over Stuart and their loss to Fairfax, even though the score doesn ' t indicate how well they played. Hockey J.V. wins 3, ties 5, for undefeated season The Junior varsity team under the coaching of Miss Faye Wagoner had a most unusual season. Though undefeated the team won only three of its eight games, four of which were scoreless for a 3-0-5 record. Scoring four points to only one point scored against them during the Jefferson game, the team looks forward to a better season next fall due to the valuable experience gained in the 1964 sea¬ son.
