Marece Hockey . . . .ML Defiower The story takes place at the present time in Steve Arlen's apartment in New York City. Steve Arlen, who had been dating four girls before he married one of them, suddenly discovers that he can't remember which one of the four girls he married. Because of this, he invites the four girls up to his apartment for a party. He also invites his friend, Charlie Cooney, and a few other guests. To decide which one he really married, Steve and Charlie decide that Charlie should propose to the four girls and the one that didn't accept him would he Steve's wife. They do this, and after many confusing and humorous incidents occur, they finally discover that Ruth Auburn is the girl Steve Arlen married.
