Jim Irwin, Dilly Griffin, Duane Bright, Richard Silver- berg, Wayne Kruse, and Gene llanson. Genoa boys opened their track season with a triangler meet at Newman Grove. Genoa placed last in the meet with 4416 points, close behind the second place winners. On April 10 Genoa finished tenth out of thirty-five schools at the Columbus Invitational. On April 17, Genoa placed third in the fVl.B.N. Track 'Vleet with 31 points. On the 24th of April, Genoa won a third place in the Goldenrod Conference with 40 points, only 2X3 of a point from second place. At the Distric Meet, Duane Bright qualified for the State Track Meet in Lincoln by placing 2nd in the low hurdles. Bright also placed third in the high hurdles, and Gail Johnson placed third in the shot put to bring the total to 10 points. The coaches were Mr. Fuerst and Mr. Joyce. Duane Bright, Eyman Ander- son, Larry McNeff, Gail Johnson, LeRoy Hockey, Bill Griffin, Joe Swantek, and Richard Silverberg were the lettermen in track this year. Marece Hockey . . . .ML Defiower The story takes place at the present time in Steve Arlen's apartment in New York City. Steve Arlen, who had been dating four girls before he married one of them, suddenly discovers that he can't remember which one of the four girls he married. Because of this, he invites the four girls up to his apartment for a party. He also invites his friend, Charlie Cooney, and a few other guests. To decide which one he really married, Steve and Charlie decide that Charlie should propose to the four girls and the one that didn't accept him would he Steve's wife. They do this, and after many confusing and humorous incidents occur, they finally discover that Ruth Auburn is the girl Steve Arlen married.
