'ff l .h, , 31:6 - A, w 5:30 a.m, We left Genoa. 8:00 a,m, We arrived in Lincoln, ate breakfast, toured the Capitol, and left after visiting Morrill Hall, 12:30 p.m. We arrived in Nebraska City, ate dinner, visited Arbor Lodge, crossed the Missouri, and saw John Brown's Cave, 5:30 p,m, We arrived in Omaha and had free time for the rest of the evening. 3:00 asma We arrived in Genoa tired, but filled with memories of the day.

Gcnoa participated in two dual track meets this year emerging victorious over Silver Creek and Newman Grove. ln the Columbus lnvitational the Orioles finished Rth in a field of ap- proximately 40 schools. At the lll.B.N. conference meet Genoa finished a close second to Albion hy 7222 to 6813. Genoa again finished in the runner-up spot in the Goldenrod meet to Osceola by 66 1X3 to 56 2f3. SENIOR CLASS PLAY The Senior Class l'lay, One l oot in Heaven , was held May I and 2 at the Genoa Midi- lorium. This was the most elaborate Presentation ever staged by Genoa lligh School. The play was adapted from the famous book by llartzell Spence. It is a story of a minister's family in the 1010 period. hfighteen seniors comprised the large cast. The director of the play was Mrs. fioonley.
