ur oactivity freeware-zo Future Homemakers oi America The FHA, under the advisorship of Miss Tagart and leadership of the officers, hadavery successful year. Thirty- four girls belonged to the organization. They start- ed off the year with a dance for the F.F.A. boys, which everyone enjoyed. A Christ- mas dinner for their mothers was a festive occasion which gave everyone a feeling of the Christmas spirit. 'They helped with the March of Dimes campaign in school during January. In April the girls all got up early and prepared an Easter breakfast served at 6:30 A.M. The girls showed their talent in sewing by giving a style show for the public in the spring. At the close of the school year a tea was given for the eighth grade girls to give them an idea of what F.H.A. is. All the girls felt that they had gained something by joining FHA. The FHA motto is Toward New Horizons . It expresses the purpose of our or- ganization, which is to live better today in order that our lives and those of our fam- ilies may be better tomorrow.
