An expanded calendar of concerts and activities has filled the halls of GHS with the sounds of music. Added to the traditional Christmas and spring concerts was a well attended evenings Pops Concert performed in October. Also over Thanksgiving vacation. Santa was welcomed to Pyramid Mall to the strains of the GHS band. Then, in February, the GHS Music Department hosted the Ontaiio County Chorus and Band. Appearing in those aggregations were vocalists Michelle George. Anna Boehman, Jim Ditmars. and Bruce Keplinger. and instrumentalists Greg King and Jamie Daykin. Activities 23

Marching band completes sixth season Geneva High’s Marching Band had an excellent sixth season with fifty-six musicians, sixteen color guard, and four majorettes in the group. Mr Fabrizio. the new director of the band, instituted 7 a.m. rehearsals this year. Along with halftime performances at home games, the group also participated in the October Firemen’s Parade. Their annual awards banquet was held on November 24. Activities 24
